In 2021, my employer threatened to fire me for refusing the Covid vaccine.
The stupidity of the situation was evident enough. None of the Covid vaccines stopped transmission, and there were no long-term safety data on these novel mRNA inoculations. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) flashed red with warnings about the Pfizer and Moderna concoctions, and the medical establishment moved quickly to label skeptics as ‘anti-science.’
The policy response to Covid was, in effect, a religious experience. It was not scientifically-driven. Doctors and scientists were dismissed from their positions for simply asking questions. Vaccines were forced, with medical and religious exemptions rarely being courted. I refused to participate in such brazen idolatry, and thus bid my old life goodbye.
Applying to new jobs was tough, however. Despite my exemplary credentials, every position required “proof of vaccination,” including remote gigs. I eventually found a job which paid half of what I was making before — and I had to start at the very bottom rung of the ladder, while my wife was expecting a baby.
I had it in mind to build my family a cottage in the prairie countryside, with the money I had made selling my Ontario house. Frankly, I was desperate to get things done quickly, and a greedy developer took advantage of my naivety and fear. He overpromised and underperformed, and in the end, even stole from me.
And yet, the worst thing I endured was the behaviour of local churches, most of which remained closed. Instead of bravely withstanding public health directives (without drawing attention to themselves), many parishes deprived the faithful of the Holy Mysteries, and demanded masks, social distancing, and even vaccination. It was entirely inappropriate.
In hindsight, I should have faked a vaccine certificate. It was not worth it, putting my family through all that struggle.
Nevertheless, I will always be grateful to the Trucker protesters, who sacrificed their reputations, careers, and property so that I can be free today. I truly believe that God sent them; it was a proper, blue-blooded Canadian story, in which the British tradition of human dignity wrestled with the fist of Laurentian tyranny. The Truckers, despite being maligned, won a victory, and the world awoke from its stupor.
I still struggle to forgive the idiots who imposed such mindless cruelty upon me, and upon other Canadian citizens who wanted nothing, except to be left alone. The question remains, what is to be done with the doctors, politicians, and petty HR tyrants who imposed such daft wickedness upon us all?
In practice, and in line with British legal tradition, those who profited from the Covid scam should be made to make financial restitution. This includes epidemiologists, consultants, doctors, Big Pharma men, and others who saw their remuneration rise as a direct result of pandemic measures. Any money they made should be given to victims, including those suffering from the side effects of vaccines and lockdowns.
Furthermore, powerful scientists and politicians — Anthony Fauci, Francis Collins, Doug Ford, Justin Trudeau, etc. — should be made to face a criminal court. The charges would be obvious enough: lockdowns and mandates imposed direct and unnecessary costs on society, in the forms of lost employment, declining physical and mental health, and worsening school performance. Furthermore, it is well-known that Fauci and Collins conspired to persecute top scientists like Jay Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff who advocated against lockdowns, and in favour of focused protection of the elderly.
Ideally, criminals like Fauci and Collins would face corporal punishment, followed by a lengthy prison sentence.
And yet, the time for that has passed, and there is only one man to blame: Donald J. Trump.
Trump had a window of opportunity to use the might of the U.S. Department of Justice to prosecute Fauci, and bring him to justice. He also has at the helm of Health and Human Services none other than Robert Kennedy Jr. (RFK), who wrote The Real Anthony Fauci, a riveting exposé of Fauci’s underhanded dealings since the AIDS crisis of the 1980s. Yet, due to the incompetence of DOJ chief Pam Bondi, as well as Trump’s distractions with Israel and Iran, nothing came to pass.
I suspect that Trump’s advisors whispered into his ear, warning him that pouncing on Fauci would push Big Pharma to flee the U.S., resulting in a loss of investor confidence. After all, Trump hinges his success on the U.S. stock market’s performance. When the Dow rises, the Donald is elated. The president did not want to risk rocking the boat.
This is a disappointing pattern that has repeated throughout the Trump regime. After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, for example, the White House should have mobilized forces to crush militant Leftism for good. This also would have sent a signal to America’s allies, that the far-left pariah won’t be tolerated. And yet, Trump again did nothing.
Instead, 45-47 has given Americans perpetual war with Iran, a disappointing border policy, ballooning national debt, and zero progress on Russia-Ukraine. MAHA has been relegated to the sidelines; I have heard that RFK is kept away from major health decisions, giving him ample time for his podcast. Trump seems more concerned with his splendid White House ballroom, and courting crazy evangelical leaders, than he is with fixing real problems.
Ultimately, fixing the damage that the Covid response perpetrated requires a powerful leader to set the tone — otherwise, justice will prove elusive. Sadly, Trump does not appear to be that leader.
And so, we push on, hoping for a moment when a new political class will emerge in Washington, Ottawa, London, Brussels… anywhere: a political class that will hound the villains of the Covid saga, pushing their faces into the fetid mud which they conjured up for others. This new political class, we hope, will not only tackle Covid crimes, but also embrace mass deportations of foreigners, and restore the West to its Christian and European roots.
Until then, we can only wait, yearning for a justice that may never arrive.

Sorry to read this, I hope you and yours are back on your feet. I went through vast stress over fear of job loss, sometimes tracking the progress of Novavax and wondering whether that would be worth it if it came to it. We also suffered with a newborn hospitalization where I was barred from visiting and my wife couldn’t leave the room for food. The nurses in a so-called Catholic hospital treated us like scum.
I don’t expect any earthly justice. I think there are long term health effects from the vaccines, but they aren’t obvious and hit those who were simply weak or naive. I feel the worst for the children who were pushed into it by parents.
It was a useful lesson into how weak and pathetic most people are when facing even mild social pressure. And also how people refuse to apply or even consider logical arguments that don’t suit them. I remember when Covid rates went higher for the vaccinated than unvaccinated in Ontario, so they stopped publishing the statistics.
