British MP Rupert Lowe has published damning findings from his grooming gang inquiry. The 200-page report claims that since the 1950s, packs of Pakistani-Muslim men have systematically raped over 250,000 young (mostly white British) girls. The report’s estimate of 250k has been questioned (see here), but that is besides the point: nobody contests that Albion’s daughters were violated by hordes of foreign miscreants.
Pakistanis and Africans in the UK commit crimes at far higher rates than native Britons. The true tally might be worse, since the police regularly turn a blind eye to wrongdoing from non-whites. Across Europe, Somalis, Pakistanis, North Africans, and Arabs commit more crimes per capita than Europeans. This has been a problem for a while, and yet the European Union has done nothing about it.
Tensions have now reached a flashpoint across the UK, after a Sikh murdered Henry Nowak in Southampton, and a Sudanese asylum-seeker tried and failed to behead an Irishman. In Belfast, organized anti-migrant mobs attacked and burned down foreigners’ property. The Ulstermen had had enough, as John Carter explained in his insightful piece:
In Scotland, a more disorganized spate of violence was launched by an axe-wielding Celt, who seems to have had mental issues. Regardless, his motive was clearly anti-immigration:
This is all unfortunate: the howl of the disenfranchised, who see no path left but bloodshed. To be sure, this has worked, somewhat: the British government has pledged to crack down on illegal immigration in Northern Ireland, and Sir Keir Starmer, under whom this all happened, has resigned as prime minister.
Yet nothing fundamental will be fixed, because the institutions and ideology which allowed mass migration into the UK and Europe are still strong. Politicians like Tony Blair, who let in throngs of unvetted invaders, now make millions as consultants and on corporate boards. Islam continues to be the fastest-growing religion in Europe.
It is amidst these trends that Citizen Vigilante was auspiciously released. Elon Musk re-posted it on X, forcing the media to talk about how PROBLEMATIC this revenge flick is. The movie, which follows businessman Michael Sanders (played by Armie Hammer) around an unnamed European city, shows the main character killing corrupt judges, cops, criminals, and immigrants who have abused the system.
It is not particularly well-made. Uwe Boll, the German director, is known for producing mediocre content, including BloodRayne and Postal. There is no plot in Citizen Vigilante, and it seems as though a teenage boy wrote the screenplay: there is gratuitous (and unnecessary) sex, mindless violence, and nonsense scenarios.
To give you an idea of just how bad it is, I provide two glaring issues. Firstly, the main character walks around without a mask or gloves, giving Interpol ample ability to track him down. Secondly, he kills more white people in the film than law-breaking immigrants: in one bizarre scene, he hides within a bullet-proof fortress, and mows down two white SWAT teams.
Indeed, the main character is a psychopath. To prove a rhetorical point to a corrupt judge, Sanders causes a car to swerve off-road and crash, killing the driver. In another scene, he waxes lyrical about how “rule of law” and “democracy” are important, and then proceeds to take justice into his own hands. He has no qualms about using prostitutes to satisfy his base desires, suggesting that deeper intimacy with women scares him.
The movie is laughably unsubtle and cartoonish. The media are portrayed as balanced and objective, which is just silly. A woke judge makes a TV appearance, blaming a foreigner’s crimes on society’s “failure to integrate” the criminal; real-life leftists are not so stupid. Sanders talks about “Clinton, Biden, and Trump,” even though he addresses a European audience. I could go on.
However, there are positives to the movie. Armie Hammer is a good actor with screen presence, and it is a delight to see him return to work, after being dragged through #MeToo hell (though I can’t shake the fact that he starred in an Oscar-nominated LGBT piece). The technical elements in the movie are competently carried out: the cinematography, music, special effects, etc. It was a pleasure, at times, to see Croatia being featured on film.
Yet the movie portends a future hinted at by the real-life Irish Ulstermen and axe-wielding Scottish madman: one in which rule of law breaks down completely. This is not a future anyone wants to live in: Sanders himself is proof of this. Even though he presents himself as a vigilante seeking “justice,” the truth is that he is excessive in carrying out his sentences: he even kills a rapist’s sister and mother — And why? Because the women defended the criminal on social media.
Although this is evil, it does not deserve death. Deportation? Definitely.
Do not be taken in by Citizen Vigilante: yes, revenge is tempting, but a breakdown in law and order means anarchy. The system should be torn down, yes, but to be replaced by stable institutions, and leaders who can carry out moderate policies like mass deportations, as well as capital punishment for the most heinous crimes. A lack of order helps nobody, and may even embolden extremist migrant groups.
Citizen Vigilante’s poor execution also reveals the need for right-wing filmmakers to hone their craft; all that is needed is to speak plainly to the world. Mel Gibson’s films are conservative, and yet Gibson is a gifted and truthful storyteller — just watch Hacksaw Ridge or Apocalypto. Even Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings reflects traditional values, but is not preachy agitprop (and I do not think Jackson is a rightist).
If Uwe Boll makes Citizen Vigilante 2, then I hope he hires some proper talent.
In sum, I cannot recommend Citizen Vigilante. However, I do hope the movie’s growing popularity causes Western politicians to reconsider their immigration and crime policies, and to return to normalcy. My suspicion, however, is that that will not happen.
